National Association of hispanic county officials (NAHCO)

The National Association of Hispanic County Officials (NAHCO) was formed circa 1980 as a Caucus within the National Association of County Officials (NACo).

NAHCO is a grassroots organization bringing together members to advance Hispanic issues from a local official vantage point.  Our goal is to encourage Hispanic County Officials to participate in a united National effort, advocating for the communities they serve and strengthen our political effect.

Membership is open to anyone interested in addressing the needs of their Hispanic communities. Members represent districts of all sizes, as well as all types of County Officials, elected or appointed.

My involvement with NAHCO has provided me with a strong national support system of county officials who have shared their knowledge and experiences, and who I have learned from. It’s an opportunity to support each other and work together with a shared vision for our communities
